The American way of life and the freedoms we cherish are worth protecting. We need to promote leadership abroad in order to protect our freedoms at home. Linda is genuinely proud of our defense and intelligence communities and will continue to support our local bases such as Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC).
We must also never forget our veterans who, along with their families, have sacrificed in honor of our country. These men and women have volunteered to protect us and our way of life. They have earned our gratitude, and we should extend that gratitude by making sure that they have proper medical care, educational opportunities, and job training.
